For the past two weeks, there has been an explosion from the newest fad, and I want to see if any of you stay current with this sort of thing.

First: Identify what this is from- http://i27.tinypic.com/1192qv4.png

Here are some fan art to help- http://i31.tinypic.com/2ccm8w6.jpg , http://i30.tinypic.com/2mxjt38.png .

Do you know what these are? If you do and have passed this test, now I have an actual request/challenge of you. Give me more examples of this nice little trend, as I want more. I currently have around 600ish pics, a couple videos, a dozen or so songs- all produced in the last two weeks.

So can you please find more of this and share it with me? If none of you know's what this is, I'll be a sad panda, and I'll have to let you in on the awesomeness. Then maybe you will be able to help me out and find some more examples. My question is what are the chances of it being chromsonal? It runs in either of our familys! we have a 7 year old daughter and that pregnancy went gtreat, with all the test do you think it possible to actualy concive a normal healthy baby again?

I just had 11 viles of blood taken including a chromsomal test to insure why i've had 4 m/c in a row?
Most miscarriages, especially first trimester ones like yours, happen due to some developmental problem with the fetus. This is often a genetic problem severe enough that development cannot continue, so the pregnancy ends because it could never have resulted in a baby. However, the fact that you have a child shows that if you do have a genetic defect, it wouldn't be present in every egg or every sperm, so there is a possibility that you could conceive another child. Genetic screening exists in which eggs are fertilized in vitro and the genes of each embryo are screened to determine which of them carry the defect and which do not. The only embryos that could be implanted in your womb would be those which did not carry the defect and could develop into a baby. The other embryos would not be physically able to develop even if they were implanted in your womb, because they would have that defect. It would be up to you and your husband to decide if that is something you would want to do, if in fact there is a genetic defect.

It is also possible that you have a physical problem preventing you from carrying to term. Have you had a gynecologist exam to determine if there is anything wrong? I doubt that this is the problem because you are losing your pregnancies so early, but it would be good just to make sure everything is ok.

Good luck!

ophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-10738468569985849692009-07-14T23:43:00.000-07:002009-07-14T23:43:06.954-07:00What does an average and standard deviation on a test mean? Is that a C+ or a C?Average is like C on a test

standard deviation would be the + and - of those grades

If your teacher grades on a regular standard normal distribution curve or bell curve

let me give an example

say 65 is the average

deviation is 5

so for a plus is like 5 plus 65 or a score of 70 and a minus is 60

and 2*deviation would be the next grades and 3*deviations the next if the grades were following a standard normal distribution, then the median and mean would be equal as well

standard deviation measures the spread of grdes if its small then most people got the same grade, for within one standard deviation (the plus or minus) would be 68% of the class, so in the example 68% of the class scored between 60 and 70, and within 2 deviations or 55 and 75 is where 95% scored and for within 3 is 98%

But More or less the mean and deviation doesnt tell you what grade it will be, most likely your teacher will have their own grade system and the average and deviation just tells you how did compared to the majority of the class

What does an average and standard deviation on a test mean? Is that a C+ or a C?
I don'n know what you mean for the C nor the C+, but the average, which is the sum of all measurements taken on a particular object divided by the number of repetitions.

For example:

A comb was measure on two diferent occasions (two repetitions) and they got these results:

Measure 1=2.5

Measure 2=2.3

Average of the lipstick is 4.8/2= 2.4

For the Standard deviation to be calculated, begins with the calculation of the aritmetic mean. After the mean is determined, the residuals are found. These residuals are squared and the sum of those squares, symbolized by the v², is calculated.

To get v (residual), you need to subtract every measure to the average, and the formula is:

Measure # - Average =v

Residual of Measure1 (v) 1=2.5-2.4=0.1

Residual of Measure 2(v) 2=2.3-2.4=-0.1

To get the v²

Measure1 (v)²=0.1²=0.010

Measure 2 (v)²=-0.1²=0.010

Sum of all measurements (Σv²) =0.010+0.010=0.020

Now the standard deviation formula can be solved:

σ=sqr(Σv²/n-1)

where: Σv² =0.020

and n is the number of measurements

σ=sqr(0.020/2-1)

σ=sqr(0.020)

σ=0.14 That will be the standard deviation for the two measurements of the comb I just invented above.

I could've not answer you,with so little information, but since you wanted to know what does a standard deviation and average meant, I just decided to get myself a headache right now, LMFAO! Hope this helps, cause, as for now, I'm going off to bed. Example:

Say you wrote a vector class and you wanted to test it ( I am just doing this because I dont know the methods you are using in your class).

If you do not know what assert statements are, basically you put an expression in them, or a function that returns a bool. If false is returned your program will stop, and tell you the line that the assertion failed. This is much more useful then having your program output a bunch stuff then having you go through and check it. The assertion will only tell you if somthing is wrong.

#include%26lt;cassert%26gt;

#include%26lt;vector%26gt;

int main(){

std::vector%26lt;int%26gt; v;

assert(v.empty());

v.push(2);

assert(!(v.empty()); // you can also use the not operator

assert(v[0] == 2);

assert(v.front() == 2);

v.push_back(5);

assert(v.back() == 5);

assert(v.size() == 2);

return 0;

};

Test programs structured like this are also very useful if you are not going to be the user of your class. Meaning you could show this to whoever is using your class, and they will understand its capabilities very fast through your examples of how it preforms

You can do this for all your methods, and a few scenarios for each method. Also you may want to write a method to check special cases when you would need access to the private data members, however if you do this make sure you take them out before you release your class.
Reply:Usually I write a member function for the class I am trying to test that calls all of the other functions in the class and makes sure that they return the values I expect them to. The objective is to ensure you hit every "boundary", which are basically numbers or cases where your function is most likely to break.

That way, if you modify a member function later, and you inadvertently break it, your test function will start returning false.

ophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-22031834222741249732009-07-14T23:42:00.000-07:002009-07-14T23:42:02.704-07:00I need a copy of a class C driver license test( for CA) to study, do anyone has any?Here. there's a few sample written tests for you paractice.

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/interactive/t...

I need a copy of a class C driver license test( for CA) to study, do anyone has any?
go here http://www.testquestionsandanswers.com/c...

i am not sure if its a good source i just found it
Reply:http://www.testquestionsandanswers.com/d...

Go here there are links to online study booklets!

ophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-91179156678796520872009-07-14T23:41:00.002-07:002009-07-14T23:41:46.499-07:00Pcr test fo hep c?im getting complicting information, can a pcr test tell a person if they have hep c?,,secondly how long does one have to wait after exposure to the disease before they have a pcr test?

Pcr test fo hep c?
A PCR can verify that a person has chronic Hepatitis C (HCV) because the first test that is usually done is an antibodies test. If you have the antibodies, it just means you've been exposed to the virus. About 15-20% of the people exposed to HCV get rid of the virus through their own immune system. The rest go on to have chronic infection. The PCR can determine if the person still has it, or if they have cleared it. If they have cleared it, they will have an undetectable viral level. If they have not, they will have a viral level of some number greater than the lowest number the tests is able to detect. For example: if the test that particular lab uses detects to %26lt;600 IU's, and the results show a number such as %26lt;600, that means the test couldn't detect any virus. If the number is anything above 600 IU's, it will tell you the number (such as 5 million IU's, or 620,000 IU's) . The best PCR tests detect to %26lt;5 IU's, so in that case, any number above 5 will be detected indicating chronic infection. The numbers are typically in the millions or hundred thousands.

HCV can be detected through an antibody test anywhere from 2-24 weeks after exposure, so if you were tested early (like 3 weeks after exposure) you may want to retest at 6 months post exposure to be sure of the results. I had more blood work done to test for a viral count and?good news the viral count was 0!! I would like to know if this will mean that the hep c will forever not be a problem or will or can it activate in years to come? Will appreciate any info on this. Thanks!!

I have been recently diagnosed with Hepititis C. I had more blood work done to test for a viral count and?
First let me say Andria is VERY WRONG on so many levels! Most people with hepatitis c (95-97%) never need a liver transplant. And there is cure; if treatment is successful, and a person remains with an undetectable viral load after 6 months post treatment (called a SVR- sustained virological response), then they are considered to be cleared of the virus. I have been a SVR responder for almost 8 years, so I can say I'm cured. The medical field is beginning to use the 'C" word since so many people are achieving SVR's; 50-80+% depending on the genotype of Hepatitis C.

http://www.hivandhepatitis.com/hep_c/hep...

Also, another big myth, is that Hepatitis C is a STD(sexually transmitted disease). There is a less than 3% chance of transmitting HCV through sex; it is not transmitted through bodily fluids, only by blood to blood transmission. HCV is hard to transmit through sex, UNLESS there is blood to blood contact with an infected person.

http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/4775...

Enough of Andria S.; what this means is you've spontaneously cleared the virus through your own immune system. This is somewhat rare; only about 20% of people who are exposed to hepatitis C (HCV) clear it spontaneously, so say your thank you's to whoever you pray to!

http://www.hcvadvocate.org/hepatitis/Abo...

HCV laying dormant is a common myth. People think it's dormant because they don't have any obvious symptoms, until years later when the damage has accumulated to serious results, then the symptoms start.

It will not activate, you have resolved it. However, to be safe, you should always make sure you are not exposed to risk factors that would put you at risk of getting it again. There are several genotypes (sub types) of hep c, and it's not worth the risk that you'll get a different one. I feel they should do some research with those that have cleared the virus on their own; you may hold the key to a cure, a vaccine, or something to help the millions of us that have HCV. Congratulations and best wishes to you.
Reply:This should help you understand.better .http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0524197/
Reply:If your viral load was -0-, how can you have been diagnosed? Have you been doing the treatment for more than 4- 5 months? Or was that your first viral load test?

I'm 26 weeks into a 46 week treatment... my viral load upon diagnosis was 2,325,000 parts per drop of blood... that's what is called your "baseline"... a starting point for treatment... If your viral load test came back 0, I'd run... don't walk... to a reputable Doctor for a second opinion... For Sure... I'm saying it's VERY likely a false diagnosis... AND your "baseline" Viral Load determines the strength AND length of treatment... Get a recheck... any County Facility will re administer your test for free... it is an absolutely simple blood test. Don't stress over what you probably don't have... But don't play around with it either... get retested... And I truly hope you don't have the Virus... Hep-C is no Corona on the beach...

I did not mean to bring up alcohol. My Doc says, one drink of ANY alcohol with Hep- C is like taking a match to 100 gallons of gas on your liver...

AND...Anyone out there reading about Hep- C that has a tattoo...or piercing... Go get checked NOW.... It is a SIMPLE blood test... and, as mentioned above... FREE at any County Hospital...

26 weeks into treatment and my viral load is "less than .01" which Doc says is an "undetectable level". Your "viral load" test is done once a month to determine your improvement through treatment... That's also how your Insurance Company determines if it will continue to pay the Bill for treatment. AFTER treatment you are retested at 6 months and again at 1 year... My Doc says, at that point if my viral load is less than .01...(which mine is... But you MUST complete the treatment) and then I'm good to go.... the 2 drugs used to treat Hep- C, when used together, are VERY aggressive in fighting the Hep- C virus... If you are a "Geno Type One", studies show you have a 50% chance of cure from the treatment... and the Liver repairs itself through time... like your lungs when you quit smoking...

Personally I will choose to be tested every year for as long as I'm on the planet.... I could go on and on, but I won't... I am curios though... how old are you...? Hep- C is a VERY slow moving disease... which don't take that to say "I'll think about it

later..." head in the sand mentality... NO... go get checked again... and NOW.

Peace to you
Reply:At the moment its laying dormant. It will eventually wreak havoc on your liver. Its kind of like HIV you never know when its going to be full blown AIDS. Once it starts destroying your liver its all down hill from there.

I'm sorry to here it. Look for a liver donor now you will no doubt need one in the future.

Your DR. Should have explained all this to you. You have type C which means it NEVER goes away and there is no cure. You are a carrier of Hepatitis and can give it to any one you have sex with even though you may not show no signs at all of the illness. It is there laying silently for now.

If you have sex with someone that person would no doubt end up with Type B and would eventually go away. But they could get C. It is a very weird disease. and it has MANY types. all the way to Type E and F I believe.

Someone who is a carrier of it surely should know all of this. I don't understand how you can have the disease and not know about it.

ophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-64781115351911679922009-07-14T23:40:00.002-07:002009-07-14T23:40:42.748-07:00I need help taking my P&C insurance test in Indiana?Well, it's something you have to do on your own.

I'd strongly suggest looking at your practice test, and looking up EVERY OPTION - so you know not only why the right answer is right, but exactly why the wrong answer is wrong.

I need help taking my P%26amp;C insurance test in Indiana?
You didn't say what you need help with. I was in property and casualty for years then got ot of it when they started downsizing the claims offices. I know that can be pretty boring stuff. My keys to passing the tests was to read and reread. It also helps if your company had a study group as well. I was lucky, my boss already had his CPCU an was able to go over what the questions may be. If you have that then I would encourage you to focus on those question. By the way I am in Ohio your neigboring state. I would also right down key questions on index cards and memorize. The values are non-parametric, c
yeh, throw it into Minitab and do an ANOVA
Reply:No, not as stated. First that test is for samples from a population. Conditions would imply that this may be

a more clinical style of experiment, and would require a non-parametric sequential selection. If so, start by testing the hypothesis that the treatment does not work on the patient.

You will find the result faster with fewer runs. If all values are non-parametric, you have to watch those anova tests that say they are non-parametric because they rely on normal distributions, but they do it more subtle like testing the median and comparing it to normal distribution. That is the Kruskal Wallis and it is not 'pure' non-parametric. While I can't rule it out from what you said, you would have to know more about the situation being tested or else look for a pure non-parametric test if you have to use the question as stated.

potential breakup songophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-18551658990074844622009-07-14T23:40:00.000-07:002009-07-14T23:40:13.613-07:00Is T.H.C detectable through a blood test?I think T.H.C is only detectable in a urine test.

Is T.H.C detectable through a blood test?
No it is detectable though blood tests too.
Reply:Nope THC is detectable through both. To ride anything bigger you will have to take the bigger bike test. You have an option to take the training and test on a bigger bike i.e, a 500cc which, if you pass, will allow you to ride any bike. If you choose to take it on a 125cc then you will be restricted to that for 2 years before you can ride anything bigger.

You will also have to take your theory test even if you have already taken it for a car.
Reply:depends on the state or province have you read the manual???

ophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-5482721516638275932009-07-14T23:39:00.001-07:002009-07-14T23:39:22.569-07:00How many times can we write Common Proficiency test (CPT)...Part of Charted Accountancy?do anyone know about the number of attempts one can make in writing the common proficiency test (C.A foundation)...Also tell me about whether there is any change in the feb 2008 CPT curriculum .Please help

How many times can we write Common Proficiency test (CPT)...Part of Charted Accountancy?
go to icai.org for details..

I dont think there is a limit on CPT....

Best Of Luck

As far as chane is concerned, no notification so far

TW K

love songophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-7309857782556282182009-07-14T23:39:00.000-07:002009-07-14T23:39:06.565-07:00Can't lift arm up - dr. want c-spine test what is it?other half has developing shoulder pain - more so when lifting arm upward. First time I miscarried and never started my regular cycle. I was pregnant again already (had a baby less then 10 months after the miscarriage) The 2nd time, I went to my family doctor 4 days after I was in the ER with a miscarriage and there was a heartbeat. Glad I didn't let the Er doc do a D%26amp;C! I'd been pregnant with twins and lost one.
Reply:MAYBE TWINS
Reply:maybe you are pregnent with twins.....my first pregnacy was twins but I miscarried one of the babies at 2 months, my daughter is 14 now and I have twin boys also
Reply:i wouldn't think so... but go see your doctor and let him/her do a blood test.
Reply:maybe
Reply:You should no longer have a postive pregnancy test from the miscarriage. I would recommend seeing the doctor and getting checked. You very well could be pregnant again. I recommend seeing the doctor soon, to avoid another miscarriage.

I am so sorry to hear about the miscarriage. I know that it is an awful experience. Consider yourself hugged.
Reply:I say go and see your doctor and and get a check up done and get talk to your doctor about your periods and amout of bleeding from your periods but one of the answers could be right that someone gave about you may have something still inside you not being rude here or anything to you.
Reply:NO, I would talk to your Dr and get another ultrasound done dear...your levels drop weekly for about 29 days you are more than likely pregnant, however getting pregnant to fast afterwords can cause problems in this one to be careful, Talk to your Dr. They normally want you to wait for your next menstrual before you try again.
Reply:no that means that you are pregnant. Pregnancy occurs very quickly after a miscarriage if you are not careful
Reply:no one can answer that for u but a doctor!~!
Reply:if you haven't naturally passed the baby then yes, it could be. Even after you miscarry your body can still think you are pregnant.

That is how it was it was with my first pregnancy. I was devastated. I chose to have the D%26amp;C though because I didn't want to pass it naturally. My doctor told me it is very painful.

However they couldn't schedule it for a couple of weeks, I still had morning sickness and a lot of the other first trimester symptoms.

If you have passed the baby naturally then no, once the baby passes and after almost two months, I would say no, once the baby passes your body knows you aren't pregnant. Maybe not the day after but it wouldn't last 2 months.

Good luck to you and I am sorry for your loss.
Reply:You may still have the hormones in your system. Have an ultrasound to see if there is anything there and then some blood tests later. Talk to your doctor
Reply:you need the hcg quantatitive bloodtest and it will tell you if u are pregnant and how far, it will also tell you if the positive result was from your miscarriage
Reply:probably not from your loss (so sorry to hear about it) you should call your doc and see what s/he says try to get a blood test done good luck!!!
Reply:you are pregnant! 9 weeks is PLENTY enough time for the hormones ,from you previous pregnany ,to be gone. good luck with this pregnancy
Reply:If you have had your menstrual cycle and it was normal since the miscarriage, it is possible that you could definitely be pregnant. A positive test should not result from the miscarriage. You body's HCG levels would have decreased after the miscarriage and this is what a pregnancy test measures when it produces a positive or negative result. You should see your OB/GYN for proper care. Best of luck to you.
Reply:what they said ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
Reply:ask ur doc not us
Reply:Have you still been bleeding since the miscarriage because you can still have something inside of you. I think you really need to go to the doctor
Reply:I dont think you could be, but go to the doctor and find out whats wrong tell him your problem and have them do a altrosound to make sure,
Reply:I have a friend that was pregnant with twins. She had a miscarriage with the one and still was able to carry the other one. The other twin had to be born early because of her brother was taken up nutrition that she need. Not to worry thought she is 23 years old know and has two little boys of her own. But if I was you I would go and get checked out to make sure.
Reply:You didn't say how far a long you were when you had the miscarriage. Hormone levels should be back to normal by 9 weeks, but you need to get checked by a Dr. now.
Reply:Yes, it is probably from the miscarriage but you still need to see the doctor and I would probably ask them why they did not do a d%26amp;c??????
Reply:I don't think that you are pregnant. Sometimes after a miscarriage the pregnancy hormone can still be present.
Reply:My cousin was pregnant with triplets, she miscarried one and had twins so yes its is very possible that you are pregnant.
Reply:no it cant happen but u can still be pregnant because u needed to get check atleast once a week for the pregnancy hormones it has to go down to 0 and if it was still high that means u were pregnant and should get check again
Reply:I had the same problem... i had a lost a baby and a few weeks later the test was still positive and i went to the doctors and it ended up being something else . it will take a while for the hormones to go away
Reply:I think it is due to ur previous miscarriage.Some medicines or D%26amp;C are neccessary for the heathy growth of the tissues of ur utres.Better u consult ur Dr.

ophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-44969225539793235862009-07-14T23:38:00.001-07:002009-07-14T23:38:18.556-07:00I had a m/c and now I'm back on Clomid,today was day 5 of my cycle and day 1 on clomid when should I test?I had a m/c recently so I am extra scared this time around. My doc said I was fine to try again and I think emotionally I am ready but I'd still like to find out as soon as possible. Do you know when I should test?

I had a m/c and now I'm back on Clomid,today was day 5 of my cycle and day 1 on clomid when should I test?
Oh, I'm so sorry about your miscarriage. I can understand why it is even more nerve racking this time around. Even on clomid, you should ovulate around day 14-16. So I would test starting day 30 if you haven't had your period. If you want to be a little more precise, you might learn how to chart your temperature and cervical mucus, then you will know when ovulation is over. Most women get their periods (if they are not pregnant) about 14 days after they ovulate, so that is the time frame to wait before doing a pregnancy test. If you aren't sure how to chart, a site like www.fertilityfriend.com or www.myfertilitycycle.net can help you interpret the information.

Good luck. I hope you get a +++ soon and a healthy 9 months of pregnancy for you %26amp; for baby!

garden flowersophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-61124617538576835262009-07-14T23:38:00.000-07:002009-07-14T23:38:03.385-07:00Do physicians in a psychiatric unit of a hospital routinely test their patients for Hepatitis C?no they dont . my opion?

Do physicians in a psychiatric unit of a hospital routinely test their patients for Hepatitis C?
pretty much these days any unit of the hospital that you have to be admitted into will test you for hepatitis c, or b, or a, for that matter~ i know it can come up on a regular drs. office visit/physical, as it is a standard blood test~ (CBC). they will check your liver enzymes, and if they are elevated, then they would look for hepatitis.
Reply:No

ophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3233671007156539524.post-39171661441016981822009-07-14T23:37:00.002-07:002009-07-14T23:37:48.956-07:00When getting a liver test done what would the range be for normal?my husband has hep c and his recent blood test hep c pcr rna polymerase level was 573.3 is that good or bad?

When getting a liver test done what would the range be for normal?
A PCR test is used to detect how much active virus is in the blood. Any detectable number over the lowest number the test can detect indicates he has active, chronic hep c. Usually the tests results are in IU's (International Units) per deciliter of blood. Some labs are still using the old units called "copies". You'll have to read the report to determine which is used in his particular test.

It is typical for people with Hepatitis C (HCV) to have PCR viral loads in the millions or even tens of millions. With the number you've given, I'm not really sure what that indicates. However, PCR levels, as well as liver enzymes levels, tend to fluctuate as inflammation occurs, then subsides. There is no really "good" level of HCV, but most people live with HCV and manage the disease through abstaining from alcohol and drugs (both OTC and prescription) that cause the liver damage to occur faster. Best wishes to you and your husband.

calling cardsophqldhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07694741263641001682noreply@blogger.com0
