And if you're going to succeed at insurance, you'll have to work on your reading and analytical skills. Figuring out what you need for that class is much, much, much easier than figuring out what coverages a commercial client needs.

Reply:Yes, you need to take 40 hours of general insurance and 12 hours of ethics and CA insurance code. If you have a CPCU designation you can can be exempted from the 40 hours of general insurance and take only the 12 hours of code and ethics.





Also if you are a new California resident who had a current license in another state and completed 40 hours of prelicensing education in that state you can can be exempted from the 40 hours of general insurance and take only the 12 hours of code and ethics.
