Does M.A.C Test on Animals or Not?

In some of my previous answers, some people were saying M.A.C test on animals and some saying they don't.

I always understood that they do%26gt; can someone please confirm which is right?

Thanks

Does M.A.C Test on Animals or Not?
According to PETA M.A.C. do NOT test their products on animals

Reply:peta/caring consumers say that they dont.
Reply:No they don't. If you look at the packaging, the inner flap say Cruelty Free Beauty. They have never tested on animals, but a lot of their brushes do contain animal hair. Lots of lines are coming out with cruelty-free brushes now.
Reply:of course not! MAC is owned by Estee Lauder, which pledges never to test on animals.
Reply:I previously worked for M.A.C cosmetics for four years. They test on animals, and most of the cosmetics are made from animal fat (a lot of our customers broke out badly from the foundations and especially the cream blushes). I kept smart and used Bare Escentuals for foundation. I'll say upfront, no one can ever replace how good the eye shadows are! My suggestion, get your blush, foundation, and concealer elsewhere.
Reply:Not according to PETA =] x
Reply:No, they don't. Visit their website for more info.
