5 wks after m/c and positive pregnancy test?

I had a m/c 5 wks ago at 7wks pg.I m/c naturally and had no d%26amp;c,my dr did a u/s and said my uterus was empty.I bled medium for 1 wk then light for 1wk,on wk 3 i had my period but ever since i still spot at least once every 2 days but usually just a very small amount.I have taken a pregnancy test today at 5wks post m/c and i got a light positive,could this mean im pg again or is it just pregnancy hormone from my m/c?I have been having slight cramping off and on as well.Im not sure what to make of it

I bet you are pregnant again. This happened to me too. I had a m/c and then 5 weeks later I didn't get my period, so I took a test. Bingo. Unfortunately, I had a 2nd miscarriage, but I am now 3 months pregnant (go me... a new record!)





Good luck. I doubt there was ANY hormone left unless you took an ultra sensitive test.





Check with your MD for a blood test. She/He might want to repeat the test 2 days later to see if the numbers are dropping or raising.

Reply:I would say, if you have been having sex, you are pregnant. It is very easy to get pregnant again right after giving birth, or having a miscarriage. Best thing to do is to take a test or call your doctor.
Reply:It could be hormones still reading as if your preg, have you had sex thou?! It some times can happen but is rare, if you are you need to be careful that anther m/c doesnt happen!


Id be seeing you doctor again and talking to them to find out!!!
