Going to do the store bought test tomorrow.

If you have a kidney infection will your pregnancy test results be altered b/c of the blood in the urine?
If you have a kidney infection, you have other things to worry about. If you are taking antibiotics, they should have given you a pregnancy test before giving you the prescription if you thougth you might be pregant. You could have harmed your baby.
Reply:it shouldn't, it's testing for a hormone called hcg in your urine. blood or leukocytes in the urine should not affect that.
Reply:It shouldn't have any effect, but if the results are ambiguous, wait a week and redo the test.
Reply:It shouldn't because the test measures ur hcg hormone. The blood shouldnt alter anything. Do to your ob/gyn for a blood test to confrim.
Reply:No It won't affect it. but be sure to drink plenty of cranberry juice and a ton of water, especially if you might be pregnant. Not only do you want to flush the infection, you want to flush the antibiotic's from your system too!
