What does it mean when your protein c is elevated in a blood test?

it's sort of a vague test that means there's inflammation somewhere in your body. here's some info from the american heart association:

It's a marker for inflammation.

Bad diet, no exercise, illnesses, etc.. can all elevate it.
Reply:CRP is a marker of inflammation.it is not specific for any disease----but rising titre indicates worsening of the disease while a falling titre indicates otherwise.

it can be raised in conditons ranging from common cold to cancer --so your doctor has to make a diagnosis first.
Reply:It's really really bad.

Protein C or Cootie Protein is the body's

natural defense against the cootie virus.

When Protein C is elevated, you have cooties.
