C-Peptide test?

I need to have a C-Peptide test done, how long do I need to fast for it? Is it 8 or 12 hours?

8 hours should be fine, but definitely do it as a fasting test which will yield a lower number. The lower the number, the more likely you insurance company will approve your pump.





Gotta love these insurance companies - using a c-peptide result as the basis to approve payment on a device that will most definitely improve your quality of life!
